These Terms (“the Terms”) govern your (“the Purchaser”) use of the Union Billiards Online Store. (“the Provider”) website located at the domain name unionbilliards.co.za and unionbilliards.com (“the Website”).
By accessing, using or purchasing from the Website, the Purchaser agree to be bound by the Terms set out in this agreement. If the Purchaser do not wish to be bound by these Terms, the Purchaser may not access, use, download, distribute, copy, or purchase any products displayed on this website. Please contact us to discuss any concerns of objections you may have.
This agreement governs each order received via the Union Billiards Online Store. By placing an order, the Purchaser unconditionally accepts the conditions of this agreement. A serious or repeated breach of this agreement may result in immediate cessation of deliveries and closure of the Purchaser’s account.

By using this Website or communicating with the Provider by electronic means, the Purchaser consent and acknowledge that all agreements, notices, disclosures, or any other communication satisfies any legal requirement, including but not limited to the requirement that such communications should be in writing.
- Updating of these Terms
The Provider may change, modify, add to, or remove from portions or the whole of these Terms. Changes to these Terms will become effective when the changes are posted to this Website. It is the Purchaser’s obligation to periodically review these Terms at the Website for changes or updates. The Purchaser’s continued use of this Website following the posting of changes or updates will be considered notice of the Purchaser’s acceptance to abide by and be bound by these Terms, including any changes or updates.

- Products and Services
This Website sells snooker and pool playing products and accessories online.
Pool and Snooker Tables cannot be purchased online from our website and prices and availability are subject to contacting or sales team for a written quotation and consultation.
- Terms of sale
All sizes, weights, colours, or any specification given on our website or in an email and/or written quote, including price lists, are approximate and may vary from the published product.
- Value Added Tax (VAT)
All our products displayed on our website include vat of 15% and excluding shipping costs. Shipping costs are displayed at checkout.
All our prices on our quote requests, exclude vat of 15%.
All pool tables, snooker tables and foosball tables carry a 3 month manufactures warranty. We will endeavour to repair all faults, if we cannot repair, we will replace the product.
Defects on the above-mentioned goods must be reported to our offices within 24 hours or must be returned on the same day of delivery if not suitable. Please send a written report to firstname.lastname@example.org or contact our office during business hours on +27 11 474 5889.
- Online Payments
Payment may be made by Visa, Mastercard, Diner’s Club, Amex and Maestro credit cards. The PayFast payment system allows for review, corrections, and withdrawal by the Purchaser prior to placing a final order.
Credit card transaction will be processed via the PayFast payment gateway. PayFast uses the strictest form of encryption. No credit card details are stored on our servers or Website.
Customers will always have to manually input their CVC number and complete 3D secure (usually using a One Time Password, depending on your bank) to complete payment in these instances.
We undertake that we have taken all reasonable precautions to secure the credit card processing that is carried out to receive payments for goods sold. We cannot be held liable for security breaches occurring on Your electronic device (personal computer or other electronic device used to access the Website), which may result due to the lack of adequate virus protection software or spyware that You may inadvertently have installed on Your device, or due to any other security breaches that occur notwithstanding the reasonable precautions we have taken.
Goods will only be dispatched as soon as the payment has cleared/reflected in our bank account, after which time the goods will be collected by our courier or you can collect from our premises. Order processing can take 2 – 7 working days.
Products will remain the property of Pool Table Spares cc / Union Billiards until paid for in full. Any default on payment will be considered non payment and the product will be uplifted at the cost of the purchaser.
If the product has been accepted with signature to a delivery note, we will accept that you are satisfied with the product.
Lead time on orders will be discussed with you once the order has been placed.
We will always endeavour to keep to our delivery dates, but we cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery dates beyond our control.
Deliveries will only take place from Monday to Friday between 9am and 4pm. No deliveries on weekends or public holidays.
We use a Courier Company for Online Store Deliveries. Delivery times vary. On average customers can expect deliveries to metropolitan area addresses (Major Cities) i.e. Cape Town, Johannesburg, George, Port Elizabeth, Durban, Bloemfontein & Pretoria within 2-5 business days, depending on delays during the Covid-19 period and if lockdown is in effect. Outlying and remote areas expect delivery in 3-10 business days.
- Cancellation of Orders
Cancellation of orders need to be done within 24 hours and/or before the item is shipped. A 10% cancellation fee will be charged if the goods have shipped. If the item has shipped, please refer to our Returns and Refund Policy.
- Returns or Refund Policy
Subject to s56 of the Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008, (“the CPA”), if the Purchaser have received a product from the Provider and found that the product is defective, please contact our Customer Care Line at +27 11 474 5889 within ten (10) days of purchase and the Provider will gladly collect the product at the Provider’s own expense and provide the Purchaser with a refund, replacement or store credit.
Upon delivery, if the Purchaser no longer wants the product ordered, the Purchaser may return it to our physical address within 5 days at the Purchaser’s own expense. If the product is unopened and the original packaging is still intact, there are no dents or scratches, or signs of use, the Provider will provide the Purchaser with a store credit or refund.
When paying via PayFast on our website, credit and debit card refunds can take up to 7 and 10 business days to reflect in your account due to risk checks that are performed by banks.
